It may seem odd that a band has a page dedicated to revealing its cause for being. The importance of clarifying my focus and mission is paramount for proper understanding of why I am presenting this music and walking this particular path in my life.
It is true that I love so many styles and varieties of music. I believe art, writing, and music are very important to God. He instructed the writers of the Bible in what was to be said, gave psalmists gifts for words and music, laid out specific instruction on building beautiful temples, and bestowed the gifts on those who were to create them. He also created Lucifer; who, before falling from glory, was beautiful and had instruments literally as part of his body. As cliché as it may sound, God's artistic designs of the Earth, universe, and the very vistas in nature we behold every day have yet to be captured truly by the world’s finest artists. How is it that a song can touch our souls in ways we have not even discovered words to express? Music is powerful and can move you. Anointed music can save your soul.

My heart's desire is to create and spread music that is joyful, passionate, uplifting, and unforgettable. Music that does not focus on “how bad my situations are” or “how desperate my life is” while begging God to save me, but music that focuses on the soul-lifting truth that He has saved me. Music that is not preachy and full of condemnation, but music that sets the soul free. Music that does not focus on how far from Him I have strayed, but on how desperately he seeks to draw me closer. Music that is not filled with suffering, but is filled with hope, love, and the truth of what is to come.

The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His people. Although I understand why praise teams and artists are brought to tears on stage, tug at the heartstrings of the audience with mournful cries, and plead with people to let God love them; that is not what I am called to do. I will bare my soul to you while playing and allow God Himself to meet you where you are and tug at your heartstrings in His own way.

This is not music for Christians alone. Creating art that can be appreciated by anyone who hears it, thereby allowing God to fill everyone with joy, is the ultimate goal. I want to play music – anywhere, anytime, and for everyone. We all need and deserve a move of the Holy Spirit thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus. God has presented us with the three gifts of art, music, and writing so that He may touch everyone, anytime, anywhere.

With all of these ideas in mind, I present to you our cause and mission:

--We are not a ministry, yet we minister to everyone who hears

--We are not preachers or teachers, yet we bring the Word of God, the
salvation of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit to
everyone who hears

--We are not evangelists, yet, through the strength and wisdom of God,
we are out to save the world

--We are not healers nor do we lay hands on the audience, yet we create an atmosphere for Jesus to heal

--We are praisers and worshipers of the Most High God

--We are masters and good stewards of the gifts He gave us through His wisdom and encouragement

--We are carriers and distributers of the same joy that caused Paul and Silas to sing God's praises while chained in the deepest part of a prison, which was then destroyed.

--We bring love, we bring hope, and we bring Jesus with us wherever we perform

--We bring anointed music, and we bring the funk!

--We bring RHYTHM AND PRAISE!
